From April 12th lunch is served outside 12 to 3pm and we are taking a small number of reservations until May 17th when we are allowed to serve you inside! Please note we are closed every Monday until May 17th.
The menus change daily but this gives you an idea…
Anchovies & rosemary olive oil, clams chilli & garlic, asparagus, half dozen local rock oysters, crispy bream with fries and tartar sauce, mussels, grilled langoustines, whole crab, steak & chips, churros & chocolate sauce, Salcombe Dairy ice cream.
Dinner is served from 6 – 9pm a short menu with three or four starters and main courses – charcuterie from Elliott & Alison at The Ham & Cheese Company, crispy devilled prawns, leaks vinaigrette, cod’s roe with a soft boiled egg and watercress, clams with white wine, chilli & garlic.
Main courses – Lemon sole with beurre noisette, onglet & peppercorn sauce, pork chop, borlotti beans & salsa verde, cep risotto, crab linguine, brill with chips and tartar sauce. There will always be vegan and vegetarian options.
On Sundays we cook a roast and pour bloody Mary’s.
